You and I were on the same page much of the time with many issues. Underneath your gruff exterior was a man who truly loved and cherished his wife and children, and later his grandchildren. You’ve sacrificed much in your life for your country and your family. I will always cherish my memories of you and I will do my best to honor your memory in the way is so richly deserves. Thank you for all you have done for all of us. I love you.
